Stranger

Stranger though I am to this world

Care though does no one

Mistakes that I don’t mean to make

Deprive me of everyone.

Care I do for all of them,

Teasing, if I speak to someone,

Jokes become insults, and humour to offense

No one stays to hear my defense.

“Lecturer” they call me,

Listen to me does no one,

Words I spoke, I speak no more

Now thrive in life without me.

 Happiness if it brings all,

Sadness fills me as the tears fall

No one looks, and no one cares

I hold onto my broken heart, sitting here.

A prelude to my Oath, it shall remain the defining moment in my life for years to come. It was day I decided that I’m self-sufficient, that I need no one else to have a life, that if this was my life, then I am happy with it. Read all about it here.
